This post is just me keeping, or at least, trying to keep track of things that I've worked on....assignments that are important for the pathfinder, things I need to know.....

The effects of poverty on children’s health in the U.S.

Topic Focus
Emotional health, physical health?

Scope
I would like to cover the effects that poverty has on children’s health and well being in the U.S. I’m thinking that a good way to go would be to cover the changes that it has taken over the history of the U.S. and how things are different today than they were “back then”.

Outline
I honestly don’t know where to begin with an outline, at the moment I have 4000 different things on the subject, and could use some help narrowing them down. Any suggestions on where I should start and maybe how to narrow my topic down would be GREATLY appreciated!

Nature of Topic
I think for my topic I will have to focus on both current information and historical information. I still need to narrow my topic down a bit, but basically, the effect of poverty on children is something that would be best looked at from a time line sort of view. I guess my topic could focus more on how it has changed over time. I could probably get a lot of information from sources dealing with Economics and certain medical sources, but I’m not quite sure what yet.
